- 1. Bollywood Title -Dominates magazine -Big and bold -Unique style Anchor image. Usually a recognisable face. Barcode and issue details for selling purposes. Featured stories. To gain Audience attention. Strapline. To sell Magazine’s image/reputation. Text presented in a different form. Possibly to gain reader’s attention Mise-en-scene- relates to the bollywood genre. Indian style clothing suggests visually what type of genre the music magazine is which makes it easier for the audience to identify the magazine. Bollywood is known for its bright colours hence why the clothing is very detailed and the rest of the magazine is quite simple.
- 2. Bold page numbers. Psychologically done to enhance memory. Subtitles helps audience to navigate around the page. Bold Title. So audience can recognise what page they are viewing. Sometimes contents can be presented through visual images. Sometimes dates, issue number and other info can also be presented on the contents/front page. Similar images can be used on front page and again on the contents to show significance of a particular story.
- 3. Title summarises what the article is going to be about. Layout. Set in clear distinct paragraphs. Making it easier for readers to view. Starting the article with something different and being creative gains reader’s attention Quotes make the article seem interesting and also allows reader’s to learn something about the long article even if they do not read it. Sometimes direct to the audience. Colourful anchor image. Visual aspect of the double page spread. Another image different to the first one. Sometimes to explain the article so the reader can imagine it better. Page number and sometimes magazine title is listed below so th reader finds it easier to navigate
